Nearly all Eye Design University courses are written and led by our founder and Master Technician Nadia. She is credited with bringing Russian Volume techniques for eyelash extensions to the United States approximately five years ago.
Kim’s Effect is a combination of classic lash application and Russian Volume. It uses varied lengths throughout for intense volume near the lash line and a lighter, more fluttery look near the brow bone. Kim’s Effect, a modern approach to beauty, brings everyday wearability to red carpet glamour.
Our Masterclass is a two-day intensive training workshop that includes live-model practice! You will watch Nadia work on a model, then apply individual lash extensions to a model of your own. On Day 1, we will cover Russian Volume techniques and on Day 2, the class will focus on the different methods for applying Kim’s Effect. (Students can also opt to enroll in Day 1 or Day 2 only and take the remaining day at another time.)
Day 2 (Kim’s Effect) is full of essential information and practice lash artists need in order to be successful. It includes:
