If you’ve ever dreamed of learning Eye Design’s Powder Effect (micro-shading) technique for brows, now is your chance to register for our upcoming MasterClass. Instructed by our studio’s funder and leading technicians, students benefit greatly from Eye Design University’s tech-to-tech dynamic–just ask our 5,000+ graduates!
Eye Design University’s first-ever Powder Effect MasterClass in March 2019 was such a success that we are holding a second one only three months later! The entire Eye Design family is so excited to bring this versatile and universally flattering brow solution to even passionate beauty professionals in June.
Our first group of Powder Effect students was eager to learn Nadia Afanaseva’s signature micro-shading technique directly from Nadia herself, and we expecting the same from the second round of aspiring technicians later this month.
Nadia, Eye Design’s founder and Master Technician, loves sharing her skills with other artists who are as excited to learn as she is! Instructors from Eye Design’s team of technicians truly take away just as much as our students do from our MasterClass group workshops. MasterClass is an enriching experience for all!
All the buzz from our last Powder Effect MasterClass (paired with the growing popularity of this brow technique throughout the beauty industry) helped get the Eye Design community energized for our upcoming one! We could not be more thrilled to meet another group of students in only a few weeks.
If you are considering joining us, you still have a chance! But act quickly, because there are only a few seats left for June’s Powder Effect MasterClass with Eye Design University. Our team would love to see you there (and your fellow students would love the networking opportunity).
MasterClass is a three-day group training workshop, but students who do not feel ready for live-model practice can opt for our two-day class option. On Day 1, Eye Design University students enjoy a lecture from Nadia, as well as Mona, our studio’s in-demand Senior Technician. We discuss color theory, skin tones/undertones, skin types and more must-know information!
Nadia also hosts a question-and-answer session for students eager to pick her brain! The day ends with a live-model demo by our studio’s leading technicians. Students watch up-close as the Eye Design team transforms a client’s brows! We work slowly so students can see all the details of the procedure step-by-step.
Day 2 includes key instructions on Eye Design’s exclusive five-point drawing technique for brow shapes. Then, students try it for themselves! First, with pencil and paper, then on artificial skin. Students also learn several different pigment-application methods to suit a wide variety of clients.
Powder Effect requires a machine tool, approximately the size of a household pen, in order to apply pigment. As a student, you will practice using this machine on artificial skin. We want you to get a feel for the pen in your hand before you begin working on clients and models.
On Day 3 you will put your new skills to work on two live models! The Eye Design team works hard to find the best models for the Powder Effect technique. Each is booked for four hours (from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.) to ensure you have more than enough time to complete the procedure! Of course, a highly trained and experienced Eye Design technician is with you every step of the way.
Please call us at (917) 708-8870 to reserve your seat, but don’t wait! MasterClass will be here before we know it!
