So, what is Powder Effect?
Known throughout the industry by several names, including shadow effect, ombré brows and micro-shading, Powder Effect is Eye Design’s exclusive take on the technique. Developed by Nadia herself, it is safe for all skin tones and skin types (and it is Nadia’s personal favorite technique).
Powder Effect works best for clients who have medium to full natural brow hair, but frequently use a pencil, pomade or powder to fill in gaps and add definition. It shapes and strengthens the brows using pin-dot pigment application. The most efficient way to do this is with a small machine tool that requires expert training.
Like all of Nadia’s semi-permanent beauty treatments, Powder Effect can be customized to suit each client’s one-of-a-kind facial features and unique personal style! During the live stream, you will watch Nadia use her signature 5-point drawing method to create the best-shaped eyebrows for the model as an individual! With this technique, you will be able to shape any client’s brows.
From the drawing process, Nadia will show students how to numb clients’ brows. Then, the pigment application begins! Before the Q and A session at the end of the class, Nadia demonstrates how to clean-up properly after the procedure and how to talk to your client about aftercare.
