If you’re in the beauty industry, then you know how big of an impact one sick client can make. And with flu season right around the corner, it’s more important now than ever to communicate with your clients.
Be Assertive (and Professional)
As a lash artist, it’s your responsibility to make it clear to your clients that they need to stay home when they’re not feeling well, otherwise, you, your co-workers, and the other clients you see that day, will be at risk.
The flu, for example, is a serious illness that can spread like wildfire if not contained. If an infected lash client comes in, she could get you, your family, and your entire office sick even if you disinfect appropriately.
Appointments can be Rescheduled
While rescheduling may be an inconvenience, it’s better than losing half your staff for the week. Be sure to tell your clients that it’s okay to reschedule their appointment if they’re sick.
Sometimes life gets in the way, which is why Eye Design is more than understanding when it comes to clients being ill. If you’re ill, we ask that you call to reschedule your appointment, whether it’s for microblading or lash extensions, and we’ll accommodate you accordingly.
